I am Renee Ratcliffe, and I’m a Christ-follower. My family consists of my husband John, our sweet Caroline, and an eight pound dog with a super-size personality. The passions that God has put into my heart include women’s ministry & discipleship, writing, cake-decorating and baking, sports, enjoying my beautiful state of North Carolina, studying God’s Word, and sharing my experiences with His redemption.

I have degrees in special education and Christian counseling. My heart is for those who have, like me, experienced shame, brokenness, loss and grief. I hope that my posts reflect my conviction that our God heals, delivers, comforts, and redeems.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Treasures In The Dust

Wow, we have a lot in common besides the Gideon study! I have two boys with autism and two girls who don’t have autism) and I started down the path of a degree in Christian Counseling but never finished it. I have certainly experienced “shame, brokenness, loss and grief”. I love finding new bloggers that I relate to! I am looking forward to reading more of your blog!
